Naming makes the invisible visible (Solomon), and by naming our loss, our struggles, our joys,
and our marriages-in-process, we can make real and visible the ways that our lives are different in
this moment. We can mourn when we must, celebrate whenever possible, fight for a redeemed
world, and revel in the shadow of the mountain that contains the promise of an eternity of
partnership and possibility.
