2 Bentuk Polihedral
Virus polihedral berbentuk
icosahedron (isometrik), yaitu
berbentuk polihedron yang terdiri
dari 20 segitiga sama sisi dan
membentuk 12 sudut (Pratiwi,
2008).
Contoh virus polihedral antara
lain virus polio, Picornaviridae,
Rhinovirus, dan Adenovirus (Cann, Sumber: Tortora et al., 2007

3 Bentuk Berselubung
Virus berselubung berbentuk seperi bola yang kasar. Virus
heliks dan virus polihedral jika tertutupi oleh selubung maka
akan disebut sebagai virus heliks berselubung atau virus
polihedral berselubung (Tortora et al., 2007).
