Toaster. I tried to make my papers look longer by using
2-inch margins and a 14-point font. At my lowest point, I
turned in a report in 15-point Star Trek font on lime-
green paper. A caring instructor saw that I had a
problem and helped me turn my formatting around. Now,
I know how to format a document properly and every
paper that I turn in looks professional.
Printing and Presenting Your Document
When the document has been revised and proofread, print it out on
good-quality 8½ × 11-inch white paper. To hold the pages together,
place a single paper clip in the upper left corner. Do not staple your
document or put it in a report cover unless your professor instructs
otherwise.
