Explain your project and the kind of information you are looking
for, and the librarian will help you find it.
Print the Information or Email It to
Yourself
When you find useful articles online, print them or email them
to yourself so that you will not have to look for them again. Just
taking notes may not be sufficient. Documentation of online
sources requires that you acknowledge the database you used
and the date you accessed the information. That information
will be on your printout or in the emailed document. The library
may charge a minimal amount for printing, to cover the costs of
paper and ink.
Be Patient
Be patient with yourself and with the process of finding
information. Finding information always takes longer than you
think it will, and you may need to make several trips to the
library before you have everything you need.
