Indefinite Pronouns as Subjects

Problems in subject-verb agreement are also likely to occur when the

subject is an indefinite pronoun , a pronoun that does not refer to a

specific person or thing. The following indefinite pronouns are always

               singular and require singular verbs.

                 each everybody everyone anything

                 either nobody one everything

                 neither somebody someone nothing

                 anybody anyone no one something

Remember the singular indefinite pronouns more easily by
                    grouping them:

                    Each, either, neither

All the bodies (anybody, everybody, somebody, nobody)

All the ones (anyone, everyone, someone, one, no one)

All the things (anything, everything, something, nothing)
