Underline and correct each of the following prepositional phrase
fragments. Write your correction on the line provided.
1. After searching frantically for half an hour, Amanda finally found
her lost keys. Under a bunch of bananas on the kitchen
counter.
2. In a hanging philodendron on the front porch. The bird had built
her nest.
3. On a sandy beach with a frosty strawberry slush in her hand.
Morgan found contentment.
4. Because she had stayed up all night to study, Deb fell asleep.
During the exam.
5. In a pond beyond the city limits. James and his father fish on
the weekends.
