Eustress, however, is temporary; families remember the beauty of a
wedding and forget that they almost spent all the time prior to the

wedding squabbling over trivial things. Distress, stress in response
to negative events, presents more serious problems and causing more

such as loss of a job or a family member dies. Having lost the
status and income that a job provides, anger and despair can

nightmares, or to lose weight are often the results of distress.

disease, depression, and having some form of cancer. The good news
is that for most people, stress and its symptoms fading and disappear
after a period of adjustment.
