               Fill in the blank(s) in each sentence with a period, question mark,
               exclamation point, semicolon, colon, dash (or dashes), or

               parentheses. For some questions, more than one answer may be

               possible. Be sure you can justify the answer you choose.




                    1.  Sam slowed to 75 when he saw the car     the one with the
