               Example 3.37 An inductive coil of resistance 10 Ω and inductance 20 mH
               are connected in series with a capacitor of 10 μF. Calculate the frequency at

               which the circuit will resonate. If a voltage of 50 V at resonant frequency was
               applied across the circuit, calculate the voltage across the circuit components

               and the Q-factor.

               Solution:

                                                               −3
                                                                                    −6
                                    R = 10 Ω, L = 20 × 10  H, C = 10 × 10  F
               at resonance,              X  = L  C
                                            L
