Example 4.5 A 400 V, 50 Hz, three-phase supply is provided to a three-
phase star-connected load. Each phase of the load absorbs a power of 2000
W. The load power factor is 0.8 lagging. Calculate the total power supplied to
the load; the line current.
Solution:
Power consumed by each phase = 2000 W
