                  The stored energy of the magnetic field between the electromagnet and the
               piece of iron is able to pull the iron piece towards it. When the exciting coil

               of the electromagnet is energized by passing current, the force of attraction
               will pull the iron near to the face of the electromagnet. Such electromagnets

               can be used to pull or lift large amount of magnetic material and shift the
               material from one place to the other. Thus, the lifting power of the
