INTRODUCTION
The CompTIA Cloud Essentials exam is a vendor-neutral exam testing your
knowledge of various cloud computing models, their risks, how they
provide business value, how to move to cloud services, and how those
services can be effectively managed. This certification is designed for IT
professionals, business analysts, service provider or data center personnel,
and project managers. CompTIA recommends individuals seeking this
certification have six months of experience working in an environment that
markets or relies on IT-related services. There is no expiration of this
CompTIA certification as of this writing.
Exam Structure
On the CompTIA Cloud Essentials exam you can expect to see multiple-
choice questions. While most questions will have a single correct answer,
you will get the occasional question asking you to select two correct
answers or all correct answers. Unlike some vendor certification exams,
there are no scenario-based questions with the Cloud Essentials exam; each
question is independent of others.
