4.  Select firewall settings for the virtual server.

                     5.  Select an instance type to indicate which resources (storage,
                        processor speed, amount of RAM) will be available to the virtual
                        server.


                  After a few minutes, your server is ready to be accessed over the Internet
               if  using  a  public  cloud  provider.  Private  clouds  make  the  virtual  server
               accessible  over  a  private  network.  Either  way,  this  is  much  quicker  and
               does not require a capital expenditure, as buying a physical server would.

               Figure 3-5  shows  the  Rackspace.com  web  page  for  creating  a  Windows
               Server 2012 virtual server.
