RJ HAMPSHIRE
After a rough ride at the
Red Bull Straight Rhythm
left RJ Hampshire with a
brain bleed, it was un-
clear when he’d be able
to ride again. Luckily, he
heals quickly and was
back swinging in Atlanta. Riding with Geico Honda, Hampshire rode 2 impres-
sive races until his luck ran
out in Toronto, ON where
he had a slice in his tire causing it to blow apart. A
little bike problem never seemed to slow him and
the rest of the team down
as they lined up in Detroit
the following weekend. Hampshire was proving to
be a strong and consistent rider with multiple top 10 finishes. His perseverance and strength was very
evident in Indianapolis
when he crashed hard in
the whoops, sending him
to the LCQ then to finish
with a 6th place over all >> for the night. Hampshire is heading into St Louis with
59 points and confidence that he can keep himself up for the next 3 rounds to secure his place in the top 10 of the 250 class.
