THE MOTOPLAYGROUND RACE
at Ponca City
hungrier than ever for a solid fin- ish in the second moto. For moto number two, it was Willis again in second, yet he was eyeing
the lead very closely. Holding
the head of the pack for a brief second, he and Colt Martin looked to sprint away, putting the field into the dust. Roaring his 50cc machine around the track, he and Martin began to trade paint on the last lap; where both were giving absolutely the best effort they could. With the crowd cheering the hardest they possibly could, Willis would be pushed back to second, yet still riding so well in the grand scheme of things. He would finish just behind Martin
at the stripe, and as the overall scores were placed together; he would be pushed into second overall. An awesome trophy, an article in a magazine, and cheers from all his family and friends were just the icing on the cake for Mr. Willis. There wasn’t anything else in this world that could make him happier, and that’s a how
a true racer would be catego- rized. Willis has an extremely bright future, and many sponsors can’t wait to put their logo on his machine. With his extremely hard work ethic, and true raw speed, there’s nothing that can get in the way of this young man. He looks up to riders such as Eli Tomac and Ken Roczen right now, but who knows, in twenty years, people could be looking up to him in the same realm of fame.
