Jeff Alessi originally planned on doing only the first 6 races of the 2016 Supercross sea- son. Fortunately for Jeff, he caught a break just in time, as the K1 Speed team had a spot open for Jeff to finish out the season. Last weekend in Arlington was Jeff’s first race
aboard the K1 Speed machine. Although it didn’t go as planned, Jeff did show he had the speed by battling to the checkers in the LCQ, barely missing out on a spot in the Main. The #801 will be eager to get into the Main this week- end for his team, and for himself, as he has only made two other Main Events this year. The list of privateers to make a Main in 2016 is not very long, but Jeff has proved himself to be one of the few to accomplish this. Atlanta should be good for Jeff Alessi, he will be more comfortable on the bike looking to improve on his results.
