One year removed from being diagnosed with the notorious Epstein Barr virus, 4x Arenacross champion Tyler Bowers is healthy and ready to contend for the 250 East Coast title. Last season before he was hit the virus, Bowers was in the midst of an all out war with Cooper Webb for the 250
West Coast title. The two would trade wins and their fair share of paint along the way making for some excellent racing. Unfortunately before the San Diego round of the series Bowers would get the diagnosis and was never really the same for the next few races. He could not maintain the pace of the leaders for the entire race and you could tell just by watching that he was not one hundred percent. You could see Bowers was frustrated that his title hopes were dashed but he has a fresh start here in 2016 and looks ready to battle for his first AMA Supercross Championship.
