TYLER BOWERS
My first encounter of Tyler Bowers came at the Mini O’s event in 2000. A tad bit older than me, I watched as the “Danger Boy” on the number 911
lead the pack in the 65cc 7-9 year old division.
The kid was fearless. Launching jumps that looked unattainable in that day in age, he displayed an immense amount of courage, rivaling that of the A class.
That same demeanor carried him throughout his amateur career, accumulating two titles at Loretta Lynn’s, with the latter a 450 B Modified championship (as a 14 year old).
It’s translated into professional success as well, as
he decimated the Arenacross tour, and now plans to embark on the Supercross series. We know confidence doesn’t lack for the Kentuckian, let’s see if he can add the missing link to his RK chain and complete the cycle.
