“I’m travelin’ down the road and I’m flirtin with disaster.” That was the jam to Tyler Bowers’ beginning moments of the main event, as he found himself tangled on the ground with Jeremy Martin in the first turn. With his back against the wall, he was forced to put his shovel in the ground, and dig, and that he did. Sixth by the halfway point, he looked to im- prove in every corner. Sixth turned to fifth, which then became fourth, and the Kentuckian was in no man’s land. An absolutely remarkable effort, the fourth place would boost his sea- son points total and keep his head high, as the result could’ve been much worse.
