VANN MARTIN
Vann Martin is a kid chasing his dream. He is one of the few that builds his own bikes and when he is on the gate, he is ready to race. Vann unfortunately had a rough rough start to his Supercross season this year. At Anaheim 1, he found himself on the ground a number
of times. With a nasty chin wound and a broken collarbone, he would be forced to anxiously wait for the healing process to take its course. He prepared his own 250 machine to race the 450 class in Arlington after only riding for 1 week since his injury. He made the night show but unfortunately, was unable to make the Main. 2 weeks ago, Vann made his fist Main Event of his career and finished 17th at Daytona. His past Supercross seasons have all been cut short due to injury, and amazingly enough, his Main Event efforts in Daytona were only his 6th attempt at a Supercross race. He was unable to back up that finish last weekend because Toronto is a tough place for privateers to compete, due to the distance and costs to get there. Vann will be back this weekend, hungry for redemption and to reach his goal of top 15!
