With an age bracket ranging from 7-11 years old, there are many different mentalities, capabilities, and outcomes that align behind that starting gate. Are the elders of the division going to show their might, pushing the pace of the younger, weaker riders? Is someone of less experience going to captivate the crowd, and take the win? Regardless of any question asked, riders like Haiden Deegan are solely focused on winning, no matter what the circumstance. Inheriting a bit of his father’s mindset, Deegan took the pack by the horn’s to begin the first moto, dictating the pace from the early going. However, a mistake on lap two saw Daxton Bennick take the lead, posting the fastest laptime of the moto. Deegan would slowly begin to crawl his way back into second, making the move over Adler Caudle on lap four. Skying over both the infield stepover, and following sand-single, he was doing all he could to bridge the gap of Bennick. It was too little too late, but both team and mechanic reassured him that the second was just as good as the first. For moto number two, Deegan rounded the opening lap in third,
