having none of it. As strong-willed as they come, he would look forward to the applause of his mechanic on every lap, knowing that he was doing what he set out to accomplish. Much like the first moto, he would pull to a 21 second lead, and take another one on the score sheet. Adversity is of no task to Ty, as the third moto saw a 15th place on the opening lap pushing his back to the wall. Never breaking a sweat, he would remain composed, and claw his way into the top five as the laps would dwindle. Creative as ever, he would pivot across ruts, bumps, and moguls with meticulous timing; almost appearing to go 12 o’clock with the rear fender, he was balancing the entire weight of the pike through his lower body; such a marvelous feat to watch. It was instances like these, that would allow him to hold on to the fifth place ride, while Dilan Schwartz would claim the moto win. He’d done it, bringing more legacy to the last name of his family, and putting notice to the entire age group that he was hear to stay, with a 2017 national championship.
