The crisp sound of 2-strokes can make every motorcycle enthusiast within a ten-mile radius, line the fence with oozing intentions. Sali- vating at the slightest of rings, the bark of a full-gate can be categorized as a “utopian noise.” Strumming each power-band, are pilots willing to endure the roughest of battles, lunging by any means necessary to secure the title, and move into their “big bike” careers with serious momentum. All throughout practice, pegs were being drug, bars flicked, all with a quick stab of the clutch midway through high- est of jumps. That oh so certain echo, being ricocheted off the surrounding pine thicket, had everyone in attendance tapping their foot in anticipation for the takeoff of heat one. It was here, at last, the pin had fallen, and the turf was ripped by a waging war of sprockets and chains.
