KILPATRICK
Mann. Johnson, already claiming a victory earlier in the day, knew that he had one of the sports brightest stars right behind him. You think it fazed him? No sir, as each lap was clicked again and again in the lead. Reynolds, the minibike phenom, would go on to finish second, knowing that his winning ways could continue, with just a few tweaks. The name Jarrett Frye came to be of dominance in the second heat, taking off, and honestly never encountering anyone on the raceway, except in his peripheral vision. Throwing down superb laps continu- ously, Frye would go onto have one of the largest gaps of victory we’d seen thus far. He was ready to sew the title up, upon completion of the runoff. It was then time for all storms to come together, the strongest gladiator being able to come away victorious. Surprise surprise, it was Ty Masterpool throwing a wrench into everyone’s plans, after an excellent start and lead into the first few segments. Frye, now third, battled with Cole Bradford for the early stages, all the while letting the Texas transplant of Masterpool, ring the 2-stroke for all she had out front. The kid sure is a master on these things, and after hours of drilling technique, you have to give it to the young man: he WANTS this. And it was well deserved, after six hard laps of charging, he came across the line champion. It was familiar, but this, a bit different; as this wasn’t a usual genre of racing, and a closed-quarter racetrack was a place he felt people underestimated him. Not anymore guys, not anymore. Mr. Masterpool was champion, and even the second place of Frye had to give credit where it was due.
