The King thought for a moment and could see the advantage of what the Peddler was telling him. “But will this be hard?” “Yes,” was the Peddler’s reply. “Will it take a long time?” he asked. “Yes,” was the Peddler’s reply. “However, it will make your life more interesting and you a better ruler. But you don’t have to do it as it makes no difference to me,” said
the peddler.
I could tell that the King was interested but you know how kings are, he had to ponder it for a while. The King thought for a long time. After all, things were going along just fine.
