What could Cosmos
do differently the next time something
like this happens?
I thought that was a great solution. But as you might have already figured out, my teacher did not think it was so great. She did not get angry or anything. Instead she just looked at me, smiled and said, “Cosmos I know that you know that what you just told me is a Timmy Timeout solution, not a Cosmos Crow solution.”
“If you stole the shiny thing, that would cause you to be in even more trouble. Beside, you have not figured out why you were so angry in the first place.” Then she just smiled at me and flew back to the rest of the class.
After some time passed, I decided that I needed to stop being a Timmy Timeout and really start thinking about what had happened. I really wanted that shiny thing because everyone else would see how special it was and I would be proud.
But I did not get to it first, Carl did and so it really did belong to him. He did not get the shiny thing to be mean to me. How would he know I even wanted it? But I really made myself angry, over what, a silly little shiny thing.
