298) BARBIE JUMBO TRADING CARDS #1702

• This 1962 set was manufactured by the Dynamic Toy
Company. Two versions of the Jumbo Trading cards were
produced, one was a boxed complete set of the cards,
and the other came sealed in a paper envelope which
contained five trading cards
• Each card has beautifully drawn illustrations of Barbie on
the front. On the back of each card are helpful tips about
etiquette and grooming
• This complete set of 35 cards numbered 141-175 are in
excellent to near mint condition
• They come packaged in an excellent box, with nice
graphics on the front
• No collection is complete without a set of these beautiful
trading cards

• Now Barbie Fans can be twice as happy! The child can own a matching slip or panty for their
favorite Barbie and one for themselves. The ad we have seen shows a little girl holding a Ponytail
Barbie wearing a slip with the print as seen on the panty
• The fabric used was a “new” Caprolan nylon and is absolutely as mint as can be
• This item was made by Wundies and appeared in a 1963 ad “That wonderful world of Wundies
and Barbie”
• Wundies partnered with Mattel to create matching slips and panties for the child and their doll
• This offer was available at Grand-Way stores and also available through Wundies, Inc. located in
NY
• The panty comes complete with original paper hang tag and Grand-Way price still pinned to
waist
• Beautiful vintage pattern is nice and bright
• This item is exceptionally rare and to date, we have never seen this particular item offered for sale
• Shae certainly had a keen eye for rarities in his licensed collection, and this was one of them
