• This 1970 store promotion features a 20.5”x 24.5” die-cut cardboard sign that advertises an offer to
receive a Barbie doll and fashions or a Hot Wheels Sizzler car w/”Juice Machine”. The consumer
could choose the Barbie set or the Hot Wheels set and send $3.95 plus one Chef Boy-Ar-Dee
pasta product label for their set
• This store display features a Light Brown Standard Barbie, secured to the cardboard display with
replaced twist tie
• Doll is factory mint with original cello. There is a fade dot at right ear and wrist tag has been
carefully reattached
• Juice Machine is in excellent condition, with small melt mark where hose attaches to tank. A
replaced twist tie secures it to the display
• Includes a vintage Sizzler Hot Wheel Car
• Display has die-cut slot and punched holes at bottom for holding actual examples of the
premiums. Colors on cardboard are nice and vibrant. There is some edge wear to cardboard at
bottom corners and at top
• There are no water stains on front of cardboard, some water stains and other marks are present
on back of display
• White cardboard stand which fit into base of display is missing
• What an exceptionally rare item, in such beautiful condition
• To date, we have only seen two of these displays ever offered for sale. It would be wonderful
history to know which Barbie fashions were offered with this promotion!
