Hair Fair version produced with red
hair
• This doll has her original head cello
and perfect factory face paint with
light pink lips, light blush and beautiful
blue centered eyes with straight lashes
• As is typical with this doll, face vinyl has
evenly faded to an ivory tone
• Body retains original peach coloring
• Her pristine fashion is unfaded
• She wears a crispy mint wrist tag
• What is interesting about this Sears
Exclusive is that this was the only time
that a Hair Fair head was sold on a body
• This doll comes on a TNT version body, sans nail polish
• Box includes her unique red hair pieces and styling extras (comb and brush have come loose in
box)
• HTF black shoes are in original cello and loose in box
• Box is in beautiful condition with some light shelf wear at corners
• Appears to be covered in original cello with mint decal on front of box

• In documenting Shae’s collection, what really
characterized his Barbie passion was his love of
American Girls and Color Magic dolls
• His collection really highlighted beautiful
examples of the mid-60’s era
• What is fascinating to see is that Shae acquired
later Bubblecut Barbie Dolls which have the
look and allure of the American Girl face. This
Bubblecut is a great example of Shae’s love of
the AG face
• Her rich wheat blonde hair is in a full original
style and frames her face beautifully
• Mint face paint with lovely brown brows,
hypnotic blue eyes and bright coral lips
• Earring holes at ears, no green
• Nice creamy face vinyl
• Body is in excellent condition with great nail polish, some light yellow staining at thighs and light
shoe stains at toe area
• Box is marked Ash Blonde Bubblecut and is in very good condition, some splits at corners and box
bottom yellowed
