Stonehenge

 It is difficult to find a person who has not

heard about one of the biggest mysteries

of history - the construction of Stonehenge

in Wiltshire. This place has become a

popular landmark of England. The main

secret is who and why raised those stone

blocks and arranged them in such an odd

pattern. It might have been a tomb of the

pagan queen, or the observatory of Stone

Age time, or the site of ancient burials.

Nevertheless, while scientists are puzzling

over the secrets of Stonehenge, tourists

are coming here to see the mysterious

place personally.
