1683 M iii. Ahjun Busby Ahoy [1] was born on 21 Feb 1956 in Mangere,
Auckland. Other names for Ahjun are Archie and Lowe Jun.
Rapunga Kupu Akoako: Ahjun Busby Ahoy, ACA; prior to
entering the accounting profession worked for many years for the
ADHB Biomedical Production Centre producing pharmaceutical,
laboratory, intravenous and dialysis products. After qualifying to
become a Chartered Accountant he then entered the corporate
accounting world working for many years for Air NZ where he
gained his professional registration and Tegel Foods et al. Ahjun also Ahjun
had a deep interest in Whakapapa and decided to take up the mantle
left by his uncle Friday to continue where he had left off. In due
course Ahjun decided to pursue a career with a Maori world view in the Social Impact
sector as an Advisor and DA to Te Whanau O Waipareira and the Whanau Ora
Commissioning Agency and eventually as a Consultant to Whanau Tahi USA.
Ahjun's journey also led him back to the home kainga in Te Kao and Pukepoto immersing
himself in the Parengarenga3g Trust in Te Kao and the Ngakahu Trust in Okahu.
After the passing of his parents Ahjun took a deep interest in Budo and maintained this
for the rest of his life. Over the many years achieving a high level of proficiency while
heading Seidokan Budo which was founded in 1974. Ahjun represented Aotearoa NZ and
Hong Kong in Kendo at national and international level and also at the World
Championships in South Korea 1988 and Canada 1991, as well as other international
competitions.
Ahjun marena Jennifer Fay Mary Partridge [2] [MRIN: 1],
daughter of Frank Partridge [43] and Dorreen [44], on 20 Oct
1984 in Sacred Heart, Ponsonby Auckland, Officiating Father
McGrath. Jennifer was born on 6 Dec 1955 in Whangarei.
Jenny Partridge
Rapunga Kupu Akoako: Jennifer Fay Mary Partridge; was the third daughter of five sisters to
Frank and Dorreen Partridge of Whangarei. She worked for many years at Auckland Hospital in the
IVS and CSSD departments. Jenny was a very keen cook and also enjoyed knitting producing many
fine garments and meals for family and friends. Jenny was devoted to her parents and siblings always
making the effort to spend lots of time with them.
