This lab schedule is designed to take 4 days, with 45 minutes of class time per day.

DAY 1 DAY 2

Cover the background material on Blood Review the lab procedures and the data
Detection and Evidence Processing, focusing collection sheet. Emphasize that students
on blood detection. must observe the reaction within 3 minutes or
consider the test invalid.
Distribute lab procedures.
Assign pre-lab questions for homework. Instruct students to follow the lab procedures
for Lab 1 and record their data on the data
collection sheet.
