            Adding / Changing Command Information
PromptPal can only provide completion assistance for commands it recognizes. The default installation covers over
140 common commands, but you can easily extend this to include your own command-line utilities, or modify the
information held about existing commands. Click the links below to learn more.

            Add new commands
There are two ways to do this:

               1. Select "Add Command Information" from the Commands menu
                   OR

               2. Select "Command List..." from the Commands menu and click the "Add..." button in the resulting screen
You will then see either the Add Command Info Wizard (the default) or the Add Command Info dialog, according to
your Preferences settings. To find out more about these, please click the appropriate link below.

            Change existing command information

To view the list of commands PromptPal recognizes and edit the information it holds for each command, select
"Command List..." from the Commands menu. This will invoke the Command List dialog.

            Command List Dialog
This dialog shows the commands that are currently recognized by PromptPal, along with the treatment they should
receive when they are launched. You can add, edit and delete commands from this dialog.

            Add...
Click the Add button to crate a new command entry. The button will show either a wizard to guide you through the
process, or if the wizard is disabled, take you to a dialog more suitable for repeated entries.

            Edit...
The Edit button displays the Edit Command Info dialog, allowing you to change the information stored for the selected
            command.

            Delete
Removes the command and all associated information. Use this with care - a deletion is NOT reversible.
[Note: if you delete one of the standard commands that is present in a fresh installation of PromptPal, the quickest
way to get it back is to run the install again - don't uninstall first, just run the existing installer once more]

            Add Command Info Wizard

This wizard guides you through the addition of a new command to PromptPal's list, along with the appropriate help
text. Commands can be defined for any Windows executable file (.exe, .com, .bat, .vbs etc).
There are two ways to summon the wizard:
               1. Choose "Add Command Information..." from the Commands menu

               2. Click "Add" on the Command List screen.
