Vision and Purpose
The Vision, Mission and Values New Vision:
To manage coastlines, improve community resilience and enhance the natural environment.
This focuses on the core coastal business first, but also promoting the community and environmental services that make Coastal Partners leading edge and different, (it could be construed as a “one stop shop” for better coastal management.)
The Mission
This defines the company’s business, objectives and approach to reach its objectives.
Mission statements (purposes):
a. To provide leading edge and innovative solutions which demonstrate best practice in coastal, environmental and community support.
b. To provide coastal defence and management services.
c. To develop and deliver environmental and habitat services, which are
complementary to coastal defence and maintenance.
d. To shape, develop and maintain places which reduce risk, and
enhance resilience for communities.
e. To deliver high quality outcomes.
f. To lead and develop the service through high professional standards,
expertise, innovation and collaboration and partnership.
Values:
These provide an insight into the organisation’s culture and the context of how it operates. They guide staff on expected and acceptable behaviours and relationships.
