     In an increasingly diverse nation and integrated global political economy, a pipeline to the
     legal field opens opportunities for Latinas with our lived experiences to meaningfully
     influence decisions on issues that are important to us and our communities.

     A diverse student body provides a richer learning environment than a homogeneous one
     and better prepare students to succeed and thrive in the incredibly diverse real world of

     clients. If Latinas do not fill these seats in numbers more reflective of our population, our
     voices and faces will continue to be absent from the table (or in the case of 2020) from
     the Zoom meetings where critical political and legal decisions are made.
