The Office of the National Water Resources (ONWR) will move forward the implementation in
accordance with the Water Resources Act, B.E. 2561 (2018) and the 20-year Master Plan on Water Resources
Management, B.E. 2561 - 2580 (2018 - 2037). This comprises of the drafting, adjustment, and review of
laws and regulations related to water resources, the promotion of organizational development, water resources
management at the national/river basin levels as a mechanism to enhance international cooperation on
water resources. It also includes the drafting of water resource management plan, river basin master plan
and action plans, water management plan in crisis situations in all river basins, as well as monitoring and
evaluating work plans under the master plan and the implementation of each agency.
