Authorities and Duties
Study and analyze the situation of saline water intrusion, floods, and droughts in the lower Chao Phraya Basin.
(Chao Phraya River Basin, Tha Chin River Basin, Lower Bang Pakong River Basin, and Lower Mae Klong River Basin)
and reviewing current solutions; anticipating the trend, situation, and severity of problems; social, economic, and
environmental impacts; relevant laws; and assessing gaps in previous operations; providing guidelines on urgent
and long-term measures to solve problems; preparing policy recommendations that address key issues; and
drafting conditions and scope of operations.during the rainy season to solve the problem of flooding and to be
able to store water for use in the dry season.
