Connecting
Conjunction
When using conjunctions in a sentence, make sure
the words, phrases or clauses have the same
grammatical structure
1. Conjunctions connect the same parts of speech.
Examples:
Jonas have a brother and a sister.
(noun+noun)
Irene is tall and beautiful
(adjective+adjective)
2. Conjunctions connect the same parts of
speech.
Examples:
Mrs Joestar is holding a bouquet of flowers
while walking along the aisle
They were holding a bucket of popcorn while
waiting for the movie
(Both phrases are continuous tense)
