The world has been under the threat of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic since it
recorded its initial cases in Wuhan, China. As cases multiply across the globe, our nation, Malaysia also
went from recording 22 cases in the first wave of the spread of the virus in Malaysia (Abdul Karim, 2020)
to an enormous number of 8637 identified cases (Majlis Keselamatan Negara (Rasmi), 2020) as of 29
June 2020. The pandemic led Malaysia to enforce a series of measures to curb the spread of the virus
through the Movement Control Order (MCO). The enforcement of MCO meant almost all tenants in
shopping centres were closed, people could not travel from one state to another and students cannot go to
schools. It also meant students have to learn their school subjects online.

Students will now have to use platforms like Google Classroom or Edmodo to submit exercises.
