Over the course of the year, we have enjoyed
01 Christmas Clarks Village visits to AirHop, Wells Cinema, Brean Theme
trip
02 House trip to Splashdown Park, Weston Pier, Ninja Warrior and the hugely
Waterpark! popular Dorset Adventure Park, to name but a few.
03 Climbing the Tor For Christmas and the end of the school year, the
04 Lunar New Year lantern
making boarding houses take their boarders on a house
05 Celebrating the Lunar New trip. Some of these have included trips to North
Year together
Devon Wake Park, Go Karting, Splashdown, Ice
Skating, and sporting events.
The boarders also took part in the annual Boarders’
Charity Challenge where they underwent a series
of challenges such as the stair climb, rowing, go
kart and a Tough Mudder Colour Run. This was 04
all to raise money for Mental Wellbeing Charity
Mind. They managed to raise over £1200 for this
amazing charity. Many of the boarders also took
part in a swim challenge to help raise money for
the Street and Glastonbury Lions who support
many local charities in the Glastonbury area. It was
a brilliant afternoon helping raise over £600!
Our boarders get some downtime with the
introduction of our “Slow Sundays” where they
are treated to a lazy morning, a visit from the
breakfast van and some time to relax before
utilising many of the fantastic facilities at 06
the school.
Within in the houses the boarders have a range of
activities put on by the house staff. These range
from bake offs to pizza making, s’mores by the fire,
BBQs and plenty of physical activities.
