Our beautiful woods on the MPS site have allowed
01-05 Building dens and
making fires children from every part of the school to get out
in nature.

Bushcraft Club and Junior Forest School club
always prove popular in the autumn term.
Whittling club has also been a great new addition
in the summer term outdoor offering!

This year we have introduced curriculum time
Forest School on Saturday mornings for Year 4 and
on Friday afternoons for Year 3. The pupils have
engaged with a multitude of activities, walks and
skill-based sessions along with fun team games
and crafts on site in the woods.

The older pupils have had more time out in the
trees than ever before. Wednesday Enrichment
activities have seen children from Year 6, 7 and
8 assigned to outdoor activities ensuring almost 04
all pupils have had at least one session in the
woods! This has been wonderful in introducing the
joys of the outdoors to pupils that may not have
volunteered themselves so willingly before!
