What a fantastic year it has been for Year 5, full of
01, 03 Trip to the Tank exciting trips, events, and opportunities! We began
Museum
02 Recreating ‘The Scream’ the year by stepping back in time to 1939 with
painting a memorable visit to The Tank Museum, where
04 Cricket team pupils explored life during wartime and learned
05 London trip
about the powerful machines used in WW2.
The autumn term also saw Year 5 shine in house
singing and take on lead roles in our Christmas
production with great enthusiasm.

In the spring term, we headed to Bristol to explore
We The Curious, diving into the worlds of science
and technology. Highlights included a fascinating 05
Planetarium show and a hands-on workshop
exploring mechanisms like catapults and gears.

As the weather warmed up, the summer term
brought even more to enjoy. The May Fair and
house swimming gala were brilliant opportunities
for the pupils to show their energy and team spirit.
Year 5 also impressed during our Science Morning,
stepping into the role of teachers with confidence.
