Year 2
We began the year with our topic Brainwave,
which took us to Millfield School where we had
the unique opportunity to dissect a sheep’s brain.
It was a fascinating experience that truly brought 04
our learning about the brain and how it functions
to life. The children were curious, brave, and full of
thoughtful questions.
Our topic Journeys from A to B led us on further
explorations. We visited Weymouth Beach, where
we learned about coastal features and how people
have travelled across seas throughout history.
Later, we explored the Fleet Air Arm Museum,
where we stood in awe beneath the wings of real
aircraft and discovered the history of aviation and
the many ways it has changed how people move
around the world.
