Classical Ballet

Millfield Ballet aims to provide the optimal

Performance Work
It has been an exciting year in our Performance
Classes, working intensively our vocation
dancers learnt selected solo’s from the 47th Prix
de Lausanne International Ballet Competition
and performed Requiem by Jonny Neumeier in
the Greater Love Performance. the Queens instructions “Off With Her Head “

Both Vocational and Upper Graded Show classes
performed the wonderful work from Alice’s RAD Examinations
Adventures in Wonderland by Christopher Our work continues with students entering for
Wheeldon. Artistic Associate of the Royal Ballet their Graded and Vocational Examinations. They
one of the most original, versatile and garland are taught all technical, musical and artistic
choreographs of our time. This abstract, multi aspects in an environment that builds both
moment, neo classical work was challenging confidence and skill, Pre Pointe strengthening
but enormously enjoyable as our dancers had to and Pointe strengthening plays an import
turn themselves into a 14 legged Caterpillar and role in all classes and gives the students the
Dynamic Playing Cards intent on carrying out opportunity to perform classical ballet on stage.
