Aspire

Aspire is designed for pupils wanting to pursue
a career in dance and who want the intense
training experience of being in a dance company.
Dance
This year they have been busy training in a range
of Contemporary Dance techniques including
Limon, Cunningham and Release technique.
They created two new pieces of repertoire
which were performed at a number of school
and external performances including Summer
Celebration, Dance show and Spring Forward
at the Tacchi Morris Arts Centre in Taunton.
As part of the company we spent time looking
at audition techniques and had two company
members auditions for Vocational Dance
Schools. Company member Alice Kramer was
successful in auditioning for Trinity Laban and
starts the Degree course there in September
2019.
