Music at Millfield
Our major ensembles once again thrived in
Music
the bi-annual showcase of their collaborative
achievements. Held in December and May,
the ensembles gave a variety of performances,
from well-loved seasonal classics to challenging
and complex symphonic works. Both events
highlight the incredible commitment from our
musicians at Millfield to the wider co-curricular
programme, with ensembles performing
including Camerata, Choir, String Orchestra,
Orchestra, Junior Choir, Percussion Ensemble,
Brass Ensemble, Jazz Band, Barbershop and
Augmented Sixths. The Johnson Hall was packed
on each occasion to celebrate the musical
talents of our pupils and their collaborative
music-making.
