The Club at Morningside – Assistant Golf Professional - November 2016 – April 2018 (Seasonal)
The Club at Morningside is an 18-hole, high-end private facility that consists of over 200 members and
generates 15,000 rounds annually.
o Tournament Operations
-Responsible for the organization and set up of all Ladies golf events; made up of over 100 total
participants, and over 40 tournaments using Event-Man Tournament Software.
-Worked with the Director of Golf and Tournament Chairs on tournament formats, themes, and
budget prior to event.
-Managed women’s prize fund and tournament billing
o Golf Operations
-Instructed members of all playing levels throughout the season.
-Performed member club repair consisting of re-gripping and adjusting loft/lie angles
-Responsible for sending, recording, and billing all club repair that leaves the facility
o Merchandising
-Assisted in receiving items into inventory and reordering stock items as necessary
-Assisted the Director of Retail with Open to Buy numbers
Philadelphia Country Club – 7 Month Intern (May – October 2016)
Philadelphia Country Club is a 27-hole, high-end private facility that is made up of approximately 1,000
members and produces over 35,000 rounds a year.
o Golf Operations
-Assisted in the setup and scoring of multiple member tournaments, season long match play events,
and Men’s League using Golf Genius Tournament Software
-Performed member club repair consisting of re-gripping and adjusting loft/lie angles
o Junior Golf
- Supervised and instructed juniors in three, week long camps consisting of 35-40 juniors each
camp
o Merchandising
- Assisted in the inventory management, tagging, displaying, and selling of merchandise in a golf
shop featured in AGM’s “Top 100 Golf Shop’s” with over $700,000 in revenue.
- Placed multiple special orders for members from numerous companies
- Aided in selling golf clubs during multiple demo-days throughout the season
Congressional Country Club – 3 Month Intern (May-August 2015)
Congressional Country Club is a 36-hole, high-end private facility that boasts a membership of
approximately 3,000 and generates over 48,000 rounds a year.
o Junior Golf
-Assisted with the weekly setup, organization, scoring, and instruction of the junior golf program
that consisted of approximately 300 junior golfers
- Supervised and coached three Junior Interclub teams
o Merchandising
- Assisted in the inventory management, tagging, displaying, and selling of merchandise in a golf
shop featured in AGM’s “Top 100 Golf Shop’s” with over $2,000,000 in revenue.
- Maintained a high level of attention to detail developing merchandise displays, and
routinely reorganized golf shop layout
o Golf Operations
- Contributed to running the starter house where all members and guests check in
- Routinely observed and enforced pace of play regulations
