Ernie Teh is a travel photographer and writer and is currently the Managing Editor of PCP Publications (www.pcp2u.com.my). Encarni Pindado is a Spanish born photojournalist with interests in gender, immigration, human rights and social issues. She is currently working on a long-term project about gender and migration. Melanie Einzig grew up in Minnesota and moved to New York in 1990. Shortly after graduating she worked for the Associated Press. In 1997 she received the Aaron Siskind Foundation fellowship for her work titled Midtown. Her images have been exhibited in the US and Europe and included in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Brooklyn Historical Society amongst others. She then moved to New York, where she has worked for The Village Voice, The New York Times, Newsday and as a staff photographer at The New York Daily News. Wilfrid Esteve is a photographer, teacher and producer. Since 2004 he has chaired the association of public utility FreeLens. He is a member of the Observatory of photojournalism from the Ministry of Culture, co-founder of the agency’s OEil Public, speaker specializing in photojournalism and is in charge of management of the studio Hans Lucas. Born in France in 1978, Sylvain Cherkaoui has been working as a professional photographer since 2001. In 2004, Cherkaoui moved to Madrid, Spain, where he worked as a staff photographer for the Spanish national newspaper, ADN. Currently based in Dakar, Senegal, he works as a freelance photographer for the international press as well as for NGOs like ActionAid and the Red Cross. Cherkaoui’s main focus is the news in West Africa, where he has covered topics like the war in Mali and the Ebola epidemic. He is represented by Cosmos photo agency.
