     Understanding pain
Pain is caused by tissue damage. The reason you
get pain when you get tissue damage is that the
body does not want you to use the damaged area
because using it may damage it further. (Think of a
twisted ankle.) By creating pain, the body tries to
keep you from using the damaged area until it has
time to heal the damaged tissues. Once the tissue
damage decreases enough, the pain goes away.
Lets break this down so you understand it better.
When tissue is damaged it goes through three
            stages:
                    1. Inflammation
                    2. Repair/replacement of tissues
                    3. Remodeling of tissue
