Organisational structure






                           Introduction




                               Organisational structure is concerned with the way in which the
                               work is divided up and allocated.  It outlines the roles and
                               responsibilities of individuals and groups within the organisation.




                           Mintzberg’s effective organisation





               Mintzberg said that an organisation is made up of a number of distinct parts:
